Rashad Lewis wants to leave and I believe that Allan did to. Boston will be a great team for Allan. Remember how Dennis Johnson did there. I thank that Portland or Boston will be my team to watch in the future. The Sonics will not stay in Seattle. Posted by: Jim at June 29, 2007 10:52 AM I've lived in Seattle since the X-Man. They (management) have made some pretty questionable decisions through out the decades. But this was a gimme...-no brainers for the no brainers. Posted by: duke at June 29, 2007 11:27 AM I think they did a bad choice. Ray Allen Rocks. Posted by: Fan of Sonics at June 29, 2007 12:40 PM I think they did a horrible choice. Ray allen is the best in the NBA. The new players can not be as good as Allen. Posted by: Fan of Sonics at June 29, 2007 12:42 PM Of course not. Posted by: jack at June 29, 2007 12:43 PM Of course not. Sonics Rock! Posted by: jack at June 29, 2007 12:43 PM I think Ray Allen is awesome(and I'm not a Sonics fan). However, statistically speaking, only Reggie Miller has kept up his numbers after playing SG for as long as Ray has(that's right, not even Jordan). If Ray starts to breakdown in the next year or two, this trade will be unbelievable for the Sonics. I can tell you right now, some of my Celtic fan friends are not too pumped about the trade just for that reason. That Georgetown kid is a stud and the Sonics are set for a LONG time. Hopefully, they will stay in Seattle. Posted by: Relevant at June 29, 2007 4:43 PM The Sonics will be a .150 team comes next season. Though I am not a Ray Allen fan, I don't believe you can win 20% in the NBA with all young guys. You also need star veterans help to develope the younger stars. So base on how things look right now, the Sonics starting 5 are Robert Swift, Kevin Durant, Nick Collison, Jeff Green, and Earl Watson. Oh boy, that spells 0-14 start. And that's without knowing what the schedule is like. All I know every other team has a better bench than the Seattle starters.
